What a great game! I just loved every minute of it. I completed the game on level 46, but I think level 50 was the maximum. Completition earned me the right to replay with the same character and to get up to level 60. It also unlocked an extra difficulty. There were some sad moments, including a situation where I had to choose between the lives of two of my starting teammates. I thought I could save them both, but in the end, Ashley died.

It turned out; the Reapers are a race of machines that live in the dark space outside the galaxy. Every time an organic civilization would get advanced enough, they would come and destroy it for some unknown reason. The ship that Saren used, the Sovereign, is actually one of the Reapers, and Saren was really under his control. The Citadel itself was a mass relay trough which the reapers would invade. This would grant them a fast way in to the galaxy, and at the same time isolate all of the Council races by disabling the relay network. Off course I had to stop it.

The Protheans actually managed to create their own mass relay which gave me a back door entrance to the Citadel. This allowed me to reach Saren before he could activate the relay to the dark space. I managed to convince him that he was under control of the Sovereign, so he took his own life. The Sovereign didn’t like this, and activated Saren’s implants, which transformed him in some sort of cyborg. While I was fighting him, the Alliance fleet managed to save the Ascension, an Asari ship on which the Council took refuge. After disposing of the Geth ships, they combined their forces and attacked the Sovereign. I defeated Saren about at the same time as the Sovereign was destroyed.

As an expression of gratitude, Humanity was granted a place in the Council as an equal to the other races. Sheppard decided to find a way to defeat the Reapers once and for all. The End!

I strongly recommend this game to everyone even if you don’t like role playing games. It’s really great in almost every aspect.

I talked to all of my teammates after the meeting in the conference room. Some of them advanced their story a little bit and some of them actually finished theirs. After talking I did a few side quests. I also somehow unlocked a bunch of cool weapons at the Normandy merchant. My characters are now level 40. I’m guessing level 50 is the maximum, but I can’t be sure.

I did a few side quests, nothing major. My character is now level 29 and is really starting to kick ass. I don’t know what the maximum level is, but I hope I don’t get there too soon. As for the main quest, I saved Liara, the daughter of Matriarch Belezia. She didn’t take the death of her mother too hard, and decided to join my crew.

Liara has another theory about the Protheans. According to her, the Protheans weren’t the first advanced civilization in the galaxy. It seems the rise and fall of major civilizations is a cyclic process. Every time a civilization gets advanced enough, something erases her from existence. The Reapers (the “something” that destroyed the Protheans) could be much more than just a machine race.

EDIT: I explored a few more planets, got a few more levels and advanced the story a bit. I repelled a Geth attack on a human colony and crashed one of their ships in the process. On the way back, I fought a giant plant that was mind controlling the colonists. Now I’m one step closer to Saren.

I followed the matriarch to Peak 15 research base. It turns out, they’ve found a Rachni egg from which a queen hatched. Off course, the Rachni overran the base. After fighting and defeating the matriarch, I got a choice weather to kill the Rachni queen and destroy their race for the second time, or release her hoping that this time they would be different. I chose the latter.

I did a few side quests, one of which led me to the Earth’s moon. It was really awesome to see the Earth rise in the sky. After finishing this quest, I got to choose my class specialization. The choice was either Commando, or Operator. Commando is more on the combat side, while Operator emphasizes Electronics and Decryption skills. I’ve chosen Commando.

I played this game most of the day. I’ve completed most of the quests at the Citadel. I haven’t completed those I find “evil”, because I prefer to play good characters. After revealing Saren to the Council, and providing evidence, I was recruited in to the ranks of Spectre. That makes me the first human Spectre ever. Before leaving the Citadel, I got command over the Normandy.

Now that I have my own ship, I’ve spent most of the time exploring planets, and solving optional quests. Right now, I’m after the woman that works for Saren. It turns out she’s actually an Asari matriarch. I also got another companion, a Quarian this time.

After talking to the Council, I decided the best next move would be to try to find Garrus, a private investigator that has been after Saren for a while now. Captain Anderson said the person to talk to would be Harkin, a human employed in the C-Sec. He’s supposed to be in a bar in the Wards, so that’s where I went looking for him. Harkin said I should look for Garrus in the Hospital.

I’ve also found general Septimus in the bar. I managed to talk some sense in to him, so he agreed to stop spreading lies about the Consort. He also admitted to lie to the ambassador I talked about earlier. He gave me evidence that I should show to the ambassador.

In the Hospital I stumbled in to some thugs threatening the doctor. Garrus helped me dispose of them so we could talk. He said Fist, a local crime lord, should know something about Saren. He also mentioned a Krogan bounty hunter named Wrex that is also after Fist. I decided to look for him, so Garrus joined my team. I’ve found Wrex in the C-Sec academy and he agreed to join to.

Doing all these things, I’ve also found a total of 17 keepers that a guy asked me to scan. I have 4 more to find. I also got a few side quests on my list, but none of them are important enough to mention.

I had this game for a while, but I didn’t get the chance to play it. It’s a great game. I started with a male Infiltrator who was a spacer and a war hero. I’m mainly going to use snipers with an explosive thrown in every now and then.

I started a game on a ship called Normandy. The mission was supposed to be a test run to try out the new stealth systems, or so I thought. It turned out it was actually a retrieval mission. An artifact from a long gone race called Protheans was found on a human colony called Eden Prime. It’s supposed to be one of the most beautiful planets Humanity inhabits.

While Normandy was approaching Eden Prime, the colony got attacked by Geth, a synthetic race that turned on its creators and then disappeared for 200 years. It seems they are back, and they mean business.

This mission was also a test for me. The Council wants a human to be allowed in to the rank of Spectres, an organization above the law, created to uphold the will of the Council. If I do okay, I will be the first human to become a Spectre. Another Specter named Nihlas will be observing me.

Nihlas went on ahead, saying he moves faster alone. After my team annihilated a few enemies, one of my team members got killed by some flying robot thingies. He quickly got replaced by another, prettier, female soldier. Fighting enemies, I got a few nice items, and encountered a few people. Nihlas was going ahead, and encountered Saren, another Spectre that is now working with the Geth. Nihlas didn’t know that, so Saren managed to kill him.

The Geth planted explosive devices around the beacon, so I had to disarm them within the time limit. After disarming the devices, I approached the beacon. It started pulling a team member in, so I jumped and pushed her away. The beacon pulled me in, and I experienced a vision. 15 hours later I woke up on the Normandy.

After some shopping and exploring, the Normandy set course to the Citadel – a space station created by the Protheans, and now controlled by the Council. After arriving, I got a new assignment. I am to go to the Council tower and tell them everything about what happened.

I did some more exploring, and have encountered two other races. One of the ambassadors has a problem with another ambassador, so I will try to help him out. I’ve also found a report on a terminal in the human embassy saying something about strange signals in an unexplored region of space. This got me an optional quest that I can do later.

EDIT: I had a conversation with C-Sec (Citadel Security) Executor Venari Pallin. He isn’t very trusting when it comes to Spectres, and especially with Saren. I also realized that the female ambassador is not an ambassador, but a Consort. I talked to her and she asked me to help her. A general named Septimus is spreading lies about her and they need to stop. I also did more exploring and met with the Council. They didn’t believe me about Saren and now I have to prove it somehow.
