I had lots of traveling to do during exams, so I was stuck in a train for 3 hours a day for the past 2 weeks. I had nothing else to do, so I decided to start a new DS game. I don’t think I got very far, but for now, I like it. It’s a Super Mario RPG style game that makes use of the DS capabilities. I’m at the point where Bowser got really fat, so Mario and Luigi used the opportunity to look for the princess inside his fatty areas. I needed to answer a few questions about Bowser correctly in order to continue, but the game froze on my, so I decided to stop there. I will probably be playing this one when I don’t have access to my computer for some reason so I won’t complete it any time soon, but I definitely plan to keep playing it.

Warcraft 3 – Reign of Chaos, Part 4 (COMPLETED)
Since now I suddenly have lots of time on my hands, I managed to clear the Orc and the Night Elf campaign in one day. Again, it feels easier than the first time I played it, but at that time I was still new to RTS games, as my only gaming experience at that time were consoles. Anyway, since the original was done, it was time for the expansion.
Warcraft 3 – The Frozen Throne, Part 1 (COMPLETED)
Again, this one was completed pretty quickly. I decided not to do the bonus campaign as it really doesn’t say anything about the story. Other than that, there’s not really much to say about Warcraft 3. It’s a Blizzard game, so it’s great. At this point, I think it’s pretty safe to say that about any Blizzard game. I can’t wait for WoW to continue the story in Cataclysm.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Part 1 (COMPLETED)
This one was installed Saturday afternoon and completed on the same evening. My DSL was dead the entire day so I didn’t have anything else to do. There is only one word to describe this game, the same word I used for the first one – EPIC! Epic story, epic gameplay, epic graphics, epic music, just EPIC! The only thing that isn’t epic is the duration, but in my opinion that is a good thing. Instead of making the game longer with more repetitive gameplay, this way, every second of the game is fun and exciting. It makes it feel more like watching a great movie than playing a game. Anyway, can’t wait for the next one! Big recommendation!
Warcraft 3 – Reign of Chaos, Part 3
I managed to complete the Scourge Campaign and I have started the Orc campaign. Also, I am trying to do all the campaigns in exact order I decided to play the bonus campaign of The Frozen Throne before starting the Orc campaign of Reign of Chaos. Currently, I’m doing the mission where the Orcs kill Cenarius. I did not try it yet, but I don’t think it will be hard, since the entire game seems much easier than the first time I played it.
Warcraft 3 – Reign of Chaos, Part 2
This is the only thing I played recently other than a few WoW sessions. Even so, I only played it a little bit and completed a single level of the Scourge campaign. I really hope to get more time for gaming after these exams. By the way, Arthas is a bitch!
Drakensang: The Dark Eye, Part 3
I don’t think I will be playing this one to completion. I had to take a brake right after my last post due to exams, so I haven’t played it at all. Long story short, it’s hard to continue after such a long break. I might start a new game at one point and try to complete that one, but for now, it’s on hold.
Batman: Arkham Asylum, Part 1
I installed it a bit after the exams and I love it. The game looks and plays amazing. The story is interesting and the gameplay is fun. I went through the starting areas, fought the Scarecrow and saved the commissioner. Last time I played I was in the sewers and just had my first encounter with the Croc. I haven’t played it in a while ‘cause of WoW but I definitely plan to play this one allot more.
Majesty 2, Part 3
Same story here. I tried the level I was stuck on for a few more times, but it got boring a bit. After the break, again I’m having trouble making myself continue the game. This one to, is on hold.
Torchlight, Part 1
Torchlight is a fun little Diablo style game from the makers of the original. What can I say? I like it! I went for the alchemist class and finished the first 2 or 3 chapters as well as a few side quests. All the characters feel really powerful, as you have no problem killing dozens of enemies at once. These types of games really aren’t made to ever be completed, but I’m hoping it won’t be long before killing the final boss. Then I can try the harder difficulties and the other two classes.
