I played the first Overlord and I really liked it, so I decided to try this one. In my opinion, it’s everything a sequel should be – the same game with lots more stuff. There’s more to upgrade, minion mounts, new spells, new critters and more dark humor. I’ve never seen a game that makes clubbing baby seals look funny before this one.

I played the game yesterday and today and managed to get all the way to conquering Everlight, the elven city. It would be good to mention that, while you are supposed to be the bad guy, your enemies aren’t exactly good guys either, so you don’t feel bad for killing them. I will probably complete the game soon, as it’s extremely fun to play.

This one, I installed, played for a few days and completed. I really liked the game. It‘s basically GTA with super powers; the thing I find GTA missed the most. Took me quite a while to complete it, and plenty of stuff unlocks after, but there are other games to play and complete, so I won’t be coming back to it.

Larthas is getting stronger by the day and richer as well (well, it fluctuates). Also, a new hero was born. His name is Hastral and he is currently a level 32 warlock. Hopefully, one day he will be as strong as Larthas.

Also, Eternal Myst is now capable of manning 25 man raids, so there will be plenty of those in the future.

A very fun game, especially when played in company. A friend of mine and I both have guitars, so we played together a lot. However, he got the fourth installment, and it crashes on my computer, so I played more by myself. This is why I managed to complete the easy mode and I’m currently tackling the medium mode.

Remember Lost Vikings? Wasn’t it awesome? Imagine that game with more action, amazing 3D side perspective graphics, 3 person multiplayer on the same pc and a fantastic fairytale narrator. I can say with confidence, that this was one of the best games I’ve ever played in my life. It took me about ten hours to complete (at least I think so), but I plan to play it many more times. Hopefully, they will add some sort of time attack mode in the patch, or some other way of increasing replayability.

Seriously readers, if you exist, GET this game.

This is an excellent indie strategy game. You colonize worlds and fight with enemy fleets while reading trough an extremely interesting story. The colonization looks simple at first, but as you go along, you realize there is a lot of strategy involved. Enemy attacks are mostly scripted, so there is plenty of really fun battles and twists in the game. I have finished the Light of Altair mission, so I have 4 or 5 missions left until the end of the game. There is, however the hard difficulty, so there is plenty of fun to be had there later.

I stumbled upon this gem on YouTube. Today I installed and completed it in one sitting. It took me probably about 8 hours, but I did it. It’s a 2D action adventure with RPG elements. The game is similar to Castlevania on the GBA and DS, as well as Super Metroid. There are a few differences though. First of all, the game has levels. You can revisit them as much as you like, and you are encouraged to do it, as there are plenty of items you can’t get in the first run. Second, and more important, the game is beautiful. All of the backgrounds are hand drawn and in high resolution. The level of details is amazing. The characters are nicely animated and everything looks completely smooth.

In the style of Castlevania, you unlock new abilities as you progress such as dash and double jump, which in turn allow you to revisit all levels and discover paths to new ones, as well as collect some nice items. You also gain experience and levels which further improves your character. There are a couple of spells and various skills in the game, and there is an option to buy potions that increase your stats, so if you like to grind you will feel right at home. I might try grinding later, but right now, I just tried to collect as much items as possible and complete the game. It gets hard at times, but it never became frustrating for me. Most of the times, I died because I got impatient. Anyway, If you like nice 2D games, this is probably one of the best you can get on the PC right now.

Anyway, look at the trailer and see for yourself.

It’s been a while, and allot has happened. I did plenty of heroic runs, including Naxxramas and some raids, which got me lots of gear for my dps and my healing build. I can now heal trough most heroics without problem, but I still lack the mana for longer battles. I was also doing daily quests for various Northrend factions, as well as for Argent Tournament and Outland cooking. I lack 2 Outland cooking recipes, but I have completed most Northrend cooking achievements. I am also an exalted champion of Stormwind, Gnomeregan, Exodar and Darnassus and I will be the champion of Ironforge in two days.

Most Northrend factions revere me now. All I am missing are the Frostborn, the Frenzyheart, the Wyrmrest Acord and the Sons of Hodir. The Frostborn will take the longest, as they only have a single daily quest.
