It’s a tower defense game with great graphics and a story. I played a few levels and, for now, I think I like it. Since it shouldn’t take to long, I’ll try to complete it.

King’s Bounty – The Legend (PC)
This is a sequel to the game that started the Heroes of Might & Magic genre. It basically plays the same, except you move around the map in real time. The battles are similar with the addition of spirits you can summon. Units have various special skills you can use, and the hero casts spells on the battlefield. There are lots of quests and things to explore, so it doesn’t get boring. My hero is a paladin now on level 10. I’ve fought the first boss battle, and tamed the first two spirits of rage. I’ve been playing it for over a week now.
Disgaea DS (DS), Part 4
This is all I’ve been playing for the past few days. I’ve played a total of about 20 hours and reached Episode 7. Laharl is definitely my strongest character, since I’ve been upgrading his equipment trough Item World. I also have a healer that has learned fire and ice spells from his pupils, an axe warrior, Etna and, off course, Flonne. There is a few other characters, but I’ve been mostly using them as spell trainers and cannon fodder. I do, however, plan to train a Prinny to a high level.
Disgaea DS (DS), Part 3
In order to continue further, I need to level up an item to level ten. I decided to try with a basic monster claw. I actually managed to go to level 10 in one go, but I couldn’t complete it, so I had to use an escape item. I’ll return there later with my entire party. Off course, I managed to subdue a few specialists while traveling there, so I can now transfer them to another item, since this one is completely useless.
Disgaea DS (DS), Part 2
Awesome! I finished the second episode of the story, so now I have an Angel Trainee in my party. Aditionally, I haven’t mentioned that I have a Warrior named Idiot, and a Cleric named Generic Healer in my party. The “Idiot” is just so the game can call him an incompetent idiot when I try to delete him, and the “Generic Healer” is so I can point out that I have only one use for her. I just love the game and the fact that you’re playing the, for now, evil side.
Disgaea DS (DS), Part 1
This is the game I’ve been waiting for. It’s every bit as great as the PS2 version, except there’s fewer voices here. I’ve completed the tutorial, created a fighter and a cleric pupil and got all the way to the first boss level. There, I got my ass handed to me by his minions (the mage is a pain). Then I started training for a while, and got some nice items. I will try my luck again tonight.
Worms Open Warfare 2 (DS)
I completed the first five lab missions with the parachute and collected a total of a thousand points. Now I just need to decide what to spend them on.
Galactic Civilizations II – Twilight of the Arnor (PC)
I finally got the latest and all the previous expansions. The game is about ten times better now (and it was excellent without the expansions). I played trough the first campaign mission, and saved in the middle of the second one, as I have to prepare for my trip to Germany tomorrow.
There will probably be fewer posts for the next three to four weeks. I will, however, keep playing all the new DS games that came out. There’s plenty of those (and some are yet to be released), so I won’t be to bored without my laptop. I just hope I manage to get it completely repaired.
Advance Wars – Dual Strike (DS), Part 2
I finished mission eleven finally (i made a counting mistake last time). All the missions before this one where extremely easy and I cleared them in one go. This one, I failed three times before completing it. It turns out, my tactics where all wrong. I tried to blitz to the goal, so I was losing units to fast. Now I took my time, and slowly killed the enemy units one by one. That way, I could use the other team as a support all the time, instead of just at the beginning.
Besides the one campaign mission, I also completed a few real time missions. It’s pretty fun, but not as much as the campaign. Some of the things a accomplished today got me a total of three medals. Only 297 to go!
Galactic Civilizations II – Dread Lords (PC), Part 2
I finished two sessions today. In one of them, I tried to go for a technology victory, but ended up doing a diplomatic victory. I was allied with three races, one of them destroyed the one race I wasn’t allied with and that was it. In the second game, I won trough culture again. I also completed the first two campaign missions.
