I was in Erliquin, which is in B-1. Since B-3 of Portsmith was pretty much cut off from C-2 of Sorpigal, I was thinking there’s a good chance that a direct route from B-1 to C-2 exists. Because of that, I decided to stay in B-1 and explore all of the locales here. It was underwhelming.
Might and Magic Book One [10] – Erliquin
If you read my last posting, you’ll know I managed to get back to Sorpigal, purely by accident. With my experiences in Portsmith, I now felt strong enough to start dealing with my first quest – delivering a scroll to a wizard.
Tomba! [9] – Two Evil Pigs Defeated
I haven’t played a lot of Tomba lately, so this time, my write up is limited to two train rides, one of them being of the shorter kind. Additionally, the first session had me stuck in a certain area for a long time, so I made even less progress.
Might and Magic Book One [9] – Portsmith Wilderness and Cave (B-3)
Writing my log as a story can sometimes be fun, but most of the time, it’s just difficult. I also suck at it, so it probably isn’t as fun to read as it is to write.
Might and Magic Book One [8] – Portsmith Wilderness (B-3)
It’s been days now that the party has been stuck in Portsmith after stepping through that god-forsaken portal. Alana and Aleen have been doing their best to keep their fellowship alive, if not conscious, but it has been a difficult job doing so. They even managed to map the whole town and parts of the areas below it, but with no hope of finding a way to get through the magical traps aimed at males.
Tomba! [8] – The Snowball Effect
There’s this peculiar thing that happens to me and, I’m sure, many others while playing adventure games that I decided to “call the snowball effect”. It’s when you’re stuck not progressing for a long time, but then you solve one tiny puzzle and suddenly, everything is in motion again.Continue reading
Tomba! [7] – The Hidden Village
Last time in Tomba!, I tried getting past the spiked wall in the back area of the Mushroom Forest, because I was sure the monster I needed to defeat was there. After half an hour of jumping and reloading, I finally made some progress.
Might and Magic Book One [7] – Orc Town Below Portsmith and Some Thoughts
Last time in Might and Magic Book One, I just finished mapping Portsmith, so I decided to map what lies underneath the town. As it turns out, I wasn’t able to complete this task. Instead, I I’ll share what I did map, as well as some thoughts.
I messed up! Also, new schedule.
Sorry guys, I just realized I made a mistake and published some posts out of order. Since I don’t have anything prepared right now, the next post will have to wait two more days.
Also, I decided to go with a schedule from now on. I’ll be posting on Monday, Thursday and Saturday from now on or at least, those will be my regular reports. I might post some other stuff outside of that, but my reports will be only on those days of the week, at 22:00 GMT+1.
Tomba! [6] – The Evil Jungle Pig and More
I did quite a lot of things in this Tomba! session, but for some reason, my memory about it is a bit fuzzy. Because of that, I’ll try and reconstruct it from screenshots this time.Continue reading
