I played for about an hour and a half. I solved a few story quests, and got an upgrade core and some other nice items. My character is now level 43. I’ll try to find a guild to join tonight.
Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Grimoire of the Rift (DS), Part 13
I played it pretty much since I woke up, so I’m taking a break now. The number of quests solved rose up to 143, and I have unlocked the Viking and Trickster jobs. Luso is now level 45, and I have unlocked a bunch of oriental blades at the shop, so he’s back to being a Parivir. I’ll play some more later. Oh, by the way, I have been playing for a total of 53 hours.
EDIT: The quest count is now at 150, and I have advanced the story by two quests. The bard didn’t have any info about my dreams, but he has decided to join my clan. I probably won’t be using him, but it is nice to have a unique character. The auction season started again so I got a bunch of cool new items. I got the Zeus’s Staff, the Master Sword, Genji Armor and a bunch of other high end equipment pieces.
Cabal Online (PC), Part 2
It’s a nice MMO, but it’s still a grind fest like most of them. I played for about an hour. I solved a few quests, and got a level. Now I’m level 42. I also got an astral bike license, but I won’t be using it, since I think you have to pay real money to get it. I’ll play tonight again probably.
Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Grimoire of the Rift (DS), Part 12
I solved a total of four quests tonight, but one of them was a three part one. Luso is level 44 now, and he has almost mastered the Paladin job. As for the Parivir one, most of the equipment isn’t available jet. I have unlocked sprint shoes in the shop which increase my movement. I’ve also unlocked an Assassin sword that teaches the Ultima Masher ability. My Assassin did 360 points of damage with this one. The problem is it costs 32 MP, so I can’t use it that often.
Diablo II – Lord of Destruction (PC), Part 7
Nothing much, my friend and I just finished normal difficulty with our druids. We did it on an 8 players setting (stronger enemies), and it wasn’t too hard. We will probably continue tomorrow.
Devil May Cry IV (PC) (COMPLETED)
What a great game! I was wrong yesterday, I wasn’t at mission 12, I was at mission 10. However, today I’ve finished it. It took me about nine hour’s total. Off course, this is just the Human difficulty, and there’s still a bunch of them to go. I also need to improve my rank on every mission, and finish all of the secret missions. Clearing Human got me The Legendary Dark Knight difficulty, some gallery images, and it changed the title screen picture. I also managed to save Kyrie in the Credits video, which got me another epilogue video. I really recommend this game to everyone. It’s fun, cool, and extremely optimized, as it runs at full speed on my mid-end computer.
Cabal Online (PC), Part 1
I had a level 38 Force Mage that I haven’t played for months. I got him to level 40 last night. I bought some nice items, including gloves and boots that increase my hit rate which I really need. I haven’t found any valuable items, but I did solve some story quests. The development team really needs to work on their English, because the dialogs are filled with typos and mistranslations. I plan to solve my class quest today, and then continue to Devil May Cry.
EDIT: Class quest solved. I’m level 41 now.
Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Grimoire of the Rift (DS), Part 11
Today there was a thunderstorm here, so I had to unplug my computer and stop playing Devil May Cry. This allowed me to return to this gem. I can’t believe I haven’t played it for over a week. I did about 7 or 8 quests and advanced the story. I’ve also unlocked the Seer job and learned a bunch of new skills. I’m dumping the Gladiator/ Defender for a Master Monk/ White Monk since that one is one of the main characters (Cid). I’m also thinking about dumping the Moogle thief and replacing him with Adelle. She learned a bunch of nice Parivir and Ninja skills, so she could be more useful. Right now my party is tracking a Moogle Bard that may have some information I need.
Devil May Cry IV (PC), Part 2
I’m on mission 12. I’m not really got at this game (either that or it’s really hard). I’m playing on Human difficulty which is the lowest, and I finish most of my missions with rank B. After replaying the first mission I got rank A with ease, but S will be extremely difficult. I’m mostly upgrading my sword because I don’t like the guns. Right now I’m saving up for the Air Hike move which will allow me to do a double jump. Based on the score table, there should be eight missions left. After that, the Devil Hunter difficulty awaits me.
Devil May Cry IV (PC), Part 1
After finishing Mass Effect, I installed this one, and I’m glad I did. It really is an excellent game. The graphics are beautiful, the performance is excellent, and this time, the controls actually work. I’ve completed the first five missions on Human difficulty. Right now I’m taking a break, and will either continue tonight or tomorrow morning, depending on what’s on TV tonight.
